Shipping + Returns
Shipping Policy
Kim Thrower Studio only ships to addresses within the USA. Free shipping is provided on orders by USPS priority mail which is delivered in 2 to 3 business days once shipped. In stock items ship within 5 business days. Made to order items usually available to ship in 2 to 4 weeks. If you need an item sooner, please contact me by email at info@kimthrowerstudio.com.
Return Policy
Returns accepted within 14 days of receipt for a full refund under the following conditions:
- items must be in new, unused condition and in original packaging
- no returns on custom items
- customer is responsible for return shipping cost
- items lost or damaged during shipping will not be refunded (therefore I strongly suggest purchasing insurance for the returned items)
Return Process
Contact me at info@kimthrowerstudio.com with item number, name and reason for return, and I will provide an address for the return package. An email will be sent notifying you when I have received the returned item, and the purchase price will be refunded at that time.
Maintenance + Repairs
Maintenance
All jewelry should be kept in a dry environment. Please do not wear your jewelry while swimming or bathing.
Crocheted necklaces are somewhat delicate, so care should be given not to pull or snag a crocheted piece.
Any item made of metal or containing metal beads or closures should be kept in a small plastic sealable bag to help prevent it from tarnishing. Metals including sterling silver, brass and bronze left exposed to the air will naturally oxidize which darkens the color of the metal. A jewelry polishing cloth can be used to restore the metal to its original finish.
Repairs
I will repair any piece made by Kim Thrower Studio free of charge as long as the needed repair is from normal wear and tear. The customer will only be responsible for outgoing shipping costs. Please notify me by email prior to shipping with your name, email, phone number and item name and number. I will provide an address for the return package.
Sizing
Bracelets
All bracelets are made to order based on the circumference of (measurement around) your wrist. This can be found with a soft measuring tape wrapped gently around the wrist. If you don’t have a soft measuring tape, a narrow strip of paper can be used instead by wrapping it around your wrist, marking where it intersects and then measuring from the end to the intersecting mark with a ruler or tape measure. Do this a couple of times to make sure you have your correct measurement. I want your bracelet to fit perfectly!
Necklaces
If you are interested in a necklace but want it in a different length, please feel free to contact me at info@kimthrowerstudio.com to see if I can accommodate your request.
Custom Orders
I welcome custom orders which combine my designs with a choice of materials to create a piece that is uniquely yours. I do not replicate jewelry based on other artist’s work.
